When working in residential properties we know the importance of being considerate to our clients’ wishes and needs. We always aim for an understanding of the daily routine in order to minimise the inconvenience that work on a building site can represent. Once on site we have all the skilled craftsmen and experienced project managers necessary to ensure that the extension blends in with the existing building.
The Works comprised the complete strip out, alteration and refurbishment of the existing properties at 2 & 4 Cranley Gardens to provide 24 flats of various sizes. Repairs to the external fabric works were carried out and we also added secure bike racks.

To remove the roof from both the South and North blocks and adding a further 6, 2 bedroom flats to the South block and a further 4, 2 bedroom flats to the North Block. Complete refurbishment works were also caried out to the entrance lobby, stairwells and lighting which also incorporated new fire alarm system for both blocks. New car parking spaces were installed, along with electric vehicle charging stations and metered units, with new landscaping, bins stores and sheds for the residents.
Working in a live environment with all other existing flats occupied, care had to be taken when programming works to ensure minimal disruption. Detailed programmes were produced working alongside the management team of Parkside Management. A successful project that was completed on time, under budget and the final result looks fantastic.
To repair/replace the electrical services supplying flats. As the flats were all occupied, this took detailed programming, planning and resident liaison to gain access to change the residents’ meters.
The electrical services were also repaired/replaced in the lecture theatre and common parts. We also replaced the communal carpets within blocks 1 and 2.
Alteration and refurbishment of the existing property including external works to surrounding areas. Communication and good relations were required with neighbouring properties during this project, especially as the works were halted and started again during the Covid pandemic.

Conversion of an old church vicarage into 4 No individual high-end residential flats. Installation of an internal lift and lift shaft. The existing loft space was increased and the roof rebuilt to provide another floor for the upper flat. All period features were restored throughout to include the external facades and stonework. This is one of over a dozen projects we have completed for the Wellcome Trust.

The project involved the complete stripping and remodeling of the interior including moving the staircase position. We also extended above the original kitchen and formed a glazed extension to the rear.
